Croatia, Independent State. A Rare Order Of The Iron Trefoil, Ii Class, C.1941 Newly Listed Footnote: Nursing Sister Helen Lawrie(Red eljeznog Trolista). Instituted in 1941. Cross in black lacquered non magnetic metal alloy, silvered centrepiece with red and blue enamels, unmarked but of typical Braca Knaus of Zagreb manufacture, measuring 51 mm (w) x 51. 5 mm (h), dual clips on the reverse, flaking evident in the black lacquer on the clips, however, the cross remains pristine, near mint. Footnote: The Order of the Iron Trefoil, also known as the Croatian Cross, was the highest
